Mechanical Engineer with interests in Machine Learning, Clean Energy, and Robotics.
Mechanical Engineer with interests in Machine Learning, Clean Energy, and Robotics.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to visit diverse energy facilities, from a nuclear power plant in
Sweden to a geothermal plant in Utah. These experiences provided me with valuable insight into the clean energy industry and
its challenges, further fueling my interest in sustainable systems. My senior year research focused on optimizing wind farm performance,
combining engineering principles with data-driven approaches.
To expand my expertise, I pursued advanced studies at Carnegie Mellon University to learn how to apply machine learning in engineering systems.
I developed skills in computer vision,
robotics, and research methodologies, learning how to integrate cutting-edge technologies into engineering systems. Now, I’m eager to
bring these skills to industry, where I can tackle meaningful problems and drive innovation that makes a positive impact.
