I am a mechanical engineering graduate student from Carnegie Mellon University. I have focused my master’s degree coursework on Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Robotics. I am currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Biorobotics Lab at Carnegie Mellon University. I am leading the development of a new tool to infer the forces and resultant stresses acting on the internal and external structures of a smart device given a high speed x-ray video.
As part of my research in the Biorobotics Lab at Carnegie Mellon, I worked on a project to develop a system for automated e-waste collection. I primarily worked on a sub-system to identify and sort liberated components from e-waste.
I worked alongside a team of 13 students to design a wind turbine to compete in the Collegiate Wind Competition hosted by the Department of Energy.
As a member of BYU's FLOW Lab, I developed optimization tools using Julia to aid in the design of offshore wind farm turbine layout. These tools allowed optimizations to factor in costs incurred by varying foundations costs and the ocean depth.
During the Fall '22 semester of my undergraduate degree, I modeled an infant in the Unity Game Engine and taught it to roll over using Reinforcment Learning.
As a personal project I have developed a C# based demo for a 3D puzzle game in the Unity game engine.
